Proxmox Hardware Choices That Matter Most
ECC RAM: Non-Negotiable for ZFS
ZFS checksums everything, but it can't repair what it can't detect — and cosmic-flip corruption in non-ECC RAM silently corrupts metadata before it ever reaches disk.
