GTL Price Watch API
Live memory and storage pricing as JSON — DDR5/DDR4 retail kit indices, DRAM spot chips, server RDIMM, SODIMM and NVMe. Updated every night, CORS open. This is the same feed that powers the GeniusTechLab DDR5 Price Tracker.

Integration notes: series keys are stable identifiers — build on them. All prices are USD. The wow_pct field is week-over-week % change. The exact attribution.url value is included inside the JSON itself, so you can read it at runtime instead of hard-coding it.

Caching & CORS
Responses are served with Cache-Control: public, max-age=3600 (one hour), so a poll a day is plenty — no tighter polling needed. CORS is fully open (Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *, GET), so browser JavaScript can fetch the feed directly from any origin with no proxy.
fetch('https://geniustechlab.com/data/ram-prices.json')
.then(r => r.json())
.then(data => {
const kit = data.retail['RTL-32G'];
console.log(`32GB DDR5 kit: $${kit.price} (${kit.wow_pct}% WoW)`);
});
Use cases
- Build a price-trend widget or "current RAM prices" block on your blog or store
- Power a "should I buy RAM now?" check in a Discord bot or Slack hook
- Feed a personal dashboard — kit price now vs what you paid on your last build
- Research: DRAM spot-chip vs retail spread analysis, NVMe price-per-TB trends
Prefer zero code? Grab the one-line embeddable price widget — live prices on your site with a single iframe.
Limitations
- Index-style pricing per series — no per-merchant or per-SKU pricing.
- All series are quoted in USD.
- The attribution credit link is required (CC BY 4.0) — keep it visible.
- Data source: MemoryIndex
